It has been 20 years since the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, and the crashing of Flight 93, but we have never forgotten the sacrifices and service of all those involved that day.

This Saturday morning (9/11) the City of Millbrae in association with Central County Fire Department will be holding a 9/11 Patriot Day Flag Ceremony to remember and honor the victims of the 9/11 attacks and those who answered to call to duty that day.

This ceremony will begin at 5:30 a.m. in front of Millbrae Fire Station #37 (511 Magnolia Ave.). A flag lowering ceremony will start promptly at 5:46 a.m., the time the first plane hit the World Trade Center.

We realize this is very early but the ceremony will take place at the actual time the first plane hit the World Trade Center.

We hope you can join us.
Annie & Denise
