Almost 60 years after their final show, the Beatles continue to stun fans. The shows have stopped, but Paul McCartney has recently given fans a. new way to experience the magic. Through August 5th, you can visit the de Young Museum to see over 250 photos and videos from Paul’s perspective on tour from 1963-1964. From days off to electric crowds, you can now get a closer look at their personalities and humor.
Tickets for the exhibition are timed and can be purchased here. If you’re looking for a deeper dive, consider booking the 12:30 timeslot and joining the free tour with a docent. They will be able to answer all your questions and share their extensive knowledge while immersing you in this blast from the past.
Can’t make it to the gallery? The de Young offers a specialized publication highlighting the beauty of this exhibit. With over 300 pages, it provides an in-depth look into the exhibit, allowing you to admire the photographs from beyond the gallery walls. As summer prevails, remember to take advantage of these local bar area gems!
