Celebrate the Bay this weekend! The Bay Area is well known for its diverse and vibrant blend of culture and history, highlighted by local festivals held year round. These festivals offer fun and engaging ways to better connect with the city’s heritage and community spirit! This weekend, San Francisco is hosting the Outside Lands Music Festival, while the San Jose Jazz Festival is being held across the Bay.

Since it’s inception in 2008, Outside Lands has quickly become one of the most popular and anticipated music festivals in the country. With outdoor stages, art installations, and food vendors across Golden Gate Park, it is truly a San Francisco experience. This year, the festival will take place August 9 through August 11 and will feature headliners like The Killers, Sabrina Carpenter, Sturgill Simpson and more. Find out more here.

Across the Bay, the San Jose Jazz Summer Festival is one of the most exciting celebrations of Jazz on the West Coast. Born in 1990 out of an effort to preserve local Jazz musicians and promote cultural awareness, the three day festival now features over 100 world-renowned Jazz musicians and local art. The festival is located around Downtown San Jose and is hosting legendary headliners like Herbie Hancock, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, and Dominique Fils-Aimé. Learn more and book tickets here

Both of these festivals are a testament to the diversity and vibrancy of the Bay Area, and we hope you can enjoy connecting with this community through music and celebration!!
