This is a community collection event where you can bring unwanted electronics and clothing. Usable items are donated for reuse, while non-functional or worn materials are responsibly recycled. This reduces landfill waste, conserves resources, and promotes sustainable disposal practices.
Items accepted include:
- Clothing, shoes, accessories (e.g., scarves, ties, and hats)
- Computers (CPUs), monitors, laptops, keyboards, and hard drives
- Electronic video games and toys
- Fax machines, copiers, printers, and scanners
- Phones and cell phones
- Radio and stereo components
- Small appliances: microwaves, hairdryers, vacuum cleaners, lamps (without bulbs), etc.
- Televisions, VCRs, and DVD players
- Towels, decorative pillows, blankets, comforters, and curtains
Items NOT accepted include:
- Batteries of any kind
- Fluorescent lightbulbs, tubes, and ballasts
- Large appliances, such as stoves, dryers, washing machines, and air conditioners
- Refrigerators and other items containing freon (from water and wine coolers), etc.
- Smoke detectors
- Solar panels
- Thermostats
- Bed sheets and bed pillows
- Dirty clothing
