This market runs three days a week: Tuesday and Thursday offer a small market with limited hours, and Sunday offers an expansive market with over 100 vendors. Heart of the City Farmers’ Market

Heart of the City’s Farmers’ Market is the only independent, farmer-operated nonprofit farmers market in the city! They are open Wednesdays and Sundays with dozens of stands waiting to be discovered. From fresh bread to produce and cakes, this market truly offers all that you could ever want. As a bonus, your parking will be validated for 90 minutes if you visit the market!

Alemany Farmers’ Market

Alemany Farmers’ Market has been in operation since 1943 and was the first to operate in California. This market hosts over 100 stalls filled with local fruits, vegetables, flowers, and even artisan food. The market is huge, but the feeling is intimate, with many locals visiting every Saturday. 

Fort Mason Farmers’ Market 

Fort Mason Farmer’s Market is the perfect spot for a market with a view! Every Sunday, this market hosts over 50 vendors offering the freshest picks of the season. Because it sits in the Marina, it is the perfect place to pick up freshly prepared food for a picnic with views of the Golden Gate.
