Just across the Golden Gate Bridge, the Muir Woods offer a breathtaking getaway into an old-growth Redwood forest. This National Monument offers hikes from half a mile for those interested in a gentle walk through this other-worldly forest up to ten-mile hikes for those interested. The main trail, visitor center, and cafe are all ramped and paved, accessible for everyone.
