Waymo’s San Francisco fleet is also all-electric and sources its 100% renewable energy from San Francisco’s CleanPowerSF program, a non-profit program that aims to provide safe and easy access to renewable energy to all Bay Area residents. Since August 2023, Waymo has helped curb the city’s emissions by an estimated 570,000 kg, and hopes to continue that path in the future. Waymo’s impact on the Bay Area is only just starting!
