As the days get longer, the San Francisco Zoo makes the perfect day trip for Bay Area Residents. There is a one-hour session monthly, and registration grants guests access to the zoo for the whole day!

The zoo brings fun for all ages, from relaxing events such as Zen at the Zoo to their social Roar & Pour event. Zen at the zoo gives guests a unique backdrop for their self-care as guided yoga is in the African Savanna Habitat. Roar & Pour gives guests a behind-the-scenes experience during this special after-hours event. Guests can look forward to light beverages and snacks, rides on the train, and even a live DJ to get the party started.

If you’d prefer a stroll through the zoo, stop by the animal feedings to learn about their lifestyles and engage in special chats with their keepers. There are daily feedings for guests to enjoy, but most will take place on weekends, so plan accordingly. If you miss these, don’t worry, there is always something exciting to see, from newly welcomed babies to expanded animal habitats and several endangered species.
