Only a half-hour drive away, you can experience the incredible grandiosity of the California Redwoods face-to-face at Muir Woods National Park. Before you leave on your adventure, here are a few of our tips to stay safe:
- Bring Essentials: Even if it usually doesn’t get too hot in the Bay Area, it is important to always bring sunscreen, food, and water on any hiking trips.
- Plan Your Route: Before leaving, make sure that you know the area well and have plans in case of an emergency.
- Leave No Trace: Do your part to make sure that these trails are as beautiful for everyone else by carrying out all trash and staying on marked trails.
We hope you enjoy your hike!
